“Has “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” gone to the dogs?
The producers, faced with dropping viewership, are taking a more proactive role in finding style-deprived subjects. One production assistant was trolling the “Leashes and Lovers“dog-friendly event Tuesday at Fred’s on the Upper West Side for a man with a dog. “She was looking for a guy who’s living in a doghouse,” our spy said. “And she admitted the show had lost its edge.”
The spokesman for “Queer Eye” said: “They’re always looking for guys.”
